Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday slammed Narendra Modi led central government over the deaths of migrant labourers and job losses during the COVID-19 induced lockdown.
Rahul attacked centre following a written reply by the Ministry of labour and employment on Monday, in which the ministry had said that the govt has no such data available on the number of migrant deaths or the job losses.
“The Modi government does not know how many migrant workers died in lockdown and how many jobs were lost. If you did you not count, does that mean no death occurred? it’s sad that there was no effect on the government, the world saw their death, It’s only the Modi government which has no information about it,” Rahul tweeted.
Rahul had attacked Modi government on Monday and said that the unplanned lockdown is a product of a person’s ego, which has caused the COVID-19 infection to spread across the country.
