With 12,881 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 101 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,09,50,201 while the death toll rose to 1,56,014, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,06,56,845 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,37,342 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 97.32%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 20.87 crore samples have been tested up to February 17 of which 7,26,562 samples were tested yesterday.
